On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Pursuant to subsections 27 (2), 5 (1), and 8 (1) of the Executive Council Act, and despite any provision of a statute or Order in Council:

The Appendices of Statutes to Order in Council O.C. 1186/2022 dated August 29, 2022 and Order in Council O.C. 1203/2022 dated August 29, 2022 are hereby amended such that responsibility for the administration of the Residential Tenancies Act, 2006 in respect of the following provisions is assigned to the Attorney General:

  1. Paragraph 241.1 (1) 3.0.1
  2. Paragraph 241.1 (1) 3.3.

This Order in Council is effective on the day it is made.
