On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

the portions of highway, in the Municipality of Clarington (Geographic Township of Darlington), in the Regional Municipality of Durham, under the jurisdiction and control of the Ministry of Transportation, described in the attached Schedule “A”, be:

  1. designated as controlled-access highway pursuant to Section 36 of the Public Transportation and Highway Improvement Act, R.S.O. 1990, Chapter P. 50, as amended; and
  2. transferred to the Corporation of the Municipality of Clarington and be vested in and under the jurisdiction and control of the Corporation of the Municipality of Clarington, on and after the day on which this order is approved, pursuant to Section 29 (4) of the Public Transportation and Highway Improvement Act, R.S.O. 1990, Chapter P. 50, as amended.
