Order in Council 487/2026

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

1. the portion of highway in the Town of Tecumseh, Geographic Township of Sandwich South, in the County of Essex, under the jurisdiction and control of the Ministry of Transportation being Part of Lot 306, Concession South of the Talbot Road and shown as PART 1 on a plan of survey deposited in the Land Registry Office for the Land Titles Division of Essex as Plan 12R-28543 (Ministry of Transportation Plan P-2144-96) be designated as controlled-access highway, pursuant to Section 36 of the Public Transportation and Highway Improvement Act, R.S.O. 1990, Chapter P.50, as amended; and
2. Order In Council OC -447/2010 dated June 15, 2010, designating portions of highway as a controlled-access highway, registered in the Land Registry Office for the Land Titles Division of Essex as Plan 12R-29508, is hereby amended so as to cease to apply to the portion of highway shown as PART 1 on Ministry of Transportation Plan P-2144-99; and
3. the portion of highway in the Town of Tecumseh, Geographic Township of Sandwich South, in the County of Essex being part of Lot 305, Concession South of Talbot Road and shown as PART 1 on a plan of survey deposited in the Land Registry Office for the Land Titles Division of Essex as 12R-29508 (Ministry of Transportation Plan P-2144-99) be closed pursuant to section 29(2) of the Public Transportation and Highway Improvement Act, R.S.O. 1990, Chapter P.50, as amended.
