
Order in Council 72/2019
On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:
Whereas an Order in Council to appoint a director and further to appoint that director as the full-time chair of the board of directors of the Education Quality and Accountability Office is submitted for approval;
therefore, pursuant to subsection 11(3) of the Education Quality and Accountability Office Act, 1996, the full-time chair shall be paid an annual rate of remuneration of $140,000;
further, the full-time chair shall be eligible for benefits, including vacation, consistent with the entitlements of OPS executives;
and further, the full-time chair may elect to participate in the public service pension plan in accordance with the provisions of the Plan;
And further, the full-time chair shall be reimbursed for reasonable work-related expenses while engaged in the business of the Education Quality and Accountability Office in accordance with the Travel, Meal and Hospitality Expenses Directive and any other TB/MBC directives, guidelines and policies;
And further, the remuneration payable to other directors of the board of directors shall be $150.00 per diem, plus expenses;
And further, that Order in Council 1057/2005 be revoked, effective the date this Order in Council comes into effect;
And further, this Order in Council comes into effect on the same day as the Order in Council appointing the full-time chair comes into effect.
