Order in Council 979/2021

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Pursuant to section 61 of Ontario Regulation 290/13 under the Courts of Justice Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. C.43, and subject to section 46 of the Courts of Justice Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. C.43, effective the date of this Order in Council, the per diem remuneration to be paid to a chair and member of the Provincial Judges  Pension Board (Board) during the term of their appointment shall be the maximum per diem Level 2 rates set out in Schedule A of the Agencies and Appointments Directive as follows:

Chair: $350
Member: $200

In addition to the remuneration set out above, a chair and member of the Board, including a chair or member of the Board who is also a provincial judge, shall continue to be reimbursed for reasonable expenses incurred in carrying out the duties of the Board in accordance with Ontario Regulation 290/13 under the Courts of Justice Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. C.43, as well as any relevant directives, guidelines and policies of the Treasury Board and Management Board of Cabinet.

Now therefore Orders in Council O.C. 344/2020, O.C. 669/2020, O.C. 857/2016 and O.C. 500/2020 dated February 27, 2020, April 16, 2020, June 1, 2016 and March 12, 2020, respectively, shall be revoked effective the date this Order in Council is made.
