Burlington Skyway improvements
Learn about the plans to improve the Burlington Skyway bridge along the Queen Elizabeth Way.
Traffic impacts
In May 2024, Ontario began work to improve the Burlington Skyway, a 2.2 km long, four-lane bridge along the Queen Elizabeth Way (QEW).
There will be lane closures along the Niagara-bound Burlington Skyway during certain weekends throughout the project. The closures will be held over weekends to reduce the impact on drivers.
