Summary

The Ministry of Indigenous Affairs and First Nations Economic Reconciliation’s (IAFNER) mandate is to: lead strategic Indigenous policy for Ontario by coordinating cross-government initiatives that improve outcomes for Indigenous people; lead provincial negotiations of Indigenous land claims; support economic and community development for Indigenous partners; and lead negotiations of community partnership agreements with Indigenous communities.
