Get money to grow a technology start-up

If you’re under 30 years old, you can get funding of up to $250,000 to expand your technology business. The program is called Investment Accelerator Fund.
How it works
Through the Youth Investment Accelerator Fund, you may apply for:
- funding of up to $250,000
- help in building a strong management team
- sales, human resources and products support to commercialize your technologies
Who is eligible
You can apply if your company meets certain criteria, including:
- has a majority of founders aged 18-29
- has total revenues of less than $500,000 from the time of incorporation and net tangible assets valued at less than $500,000
- addresses a potential market of at least $100 million
- has defensible intellectual property
- pays 50% or more of its wages and fees to employees in Ontario
- is currently enrolled with a Regional Innovation Centre under the Ontario Network of Entrepreneurs (ONE) program

The Youth Investment Accelerator Fund was delivered through MaRS, a member of the Ontario Network of Entrepreneurs.
