After you submit your application, OSAP lets you know the amount and type of aid you’ll get.
OSAP for Full-Time Students (2024–2025)
The amounts below are weekly maximums based on where you’re going to school:

Federal grant funding
You may get more aid through the following Canada Student Grants:
- Full-Time Students (maximum $6,300 per academic year, subject to a weekly maximum)
- Students with Disabilities (maximum $2,800 per academic year)
- Full-Time Students with Dependants (maximum $280 per child per month)

OSAP for Part-Time Students
Your aid can be a combination of loan and/or grants. OSAP part-time funding is provided by the governments of Ontario and Canada.
The amount you get depends on many factors, including your annual income (and that of your spouse if applicable), if you have a disability and/or you have dependent children.

OSAP for students in micro-credential programs
Your financial aid can be a combination of a loan and/or a grant.
The amount you receive depends on many factors, including your household annual income and your family size.
You’ll know how much money you may receive after your micro-credential application is processed, as it will be displayed on your OSAP web account.
There are also maximum amounts you can receive per study period.
