Notice of Election

Provincial By-Elections will be held to choose representatives for the Legislative Assembly of the Province of Ontario for the Electoral Districts of Toronto-Danforth, Nepean-Carleton and Whitby-Ajax on Thursday March 30, 2006.

Qualified Electors should take note of the following information:

Additions to the List of Electors may be made up to Wednesday, March 29, 2006. Voters whose names are not on the List of Electors and who wish to protect their right to vote must visit their Electoral District Returning Office to obtain a Certificate to Vote up to Wednesday, March 29, 2006 (Sundays excluded) from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m.

Official Nomination of Candidates closes Thursday, March 16, 2006 at 2 p.m. in the Returning Office.

Advance Polls will be held at locations chosen for ease of access on Wednesday, March 22, Thursday, March 23 and Friday March 24, 2006 from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. or in the office of the Electoral District Returning Officer from Saturday, March 18 to Friday, March 24, 2006 (Sunday excluded) from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m.

Election Day, Thursday, March 30 from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m.
