Financial Services Commission of Ontario Statement of Priorities
Section 11 of the Financial Services Commission of Ontario Act, 1997 (FSCO Act), requires that the Financial Services Commission of Ontario (FSCO) publish a statement each year setting out its proposed priorities and the reasons for adopting these priorities. As a result of the creation of the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario (FSRA) which is planned to assume the regulatory functions from FSCO in June 2019, FSCO will cease to operate as the provincial regulator. Therefore, FSCO will not be publishing a statement of proposed priorities for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2020.
