Changes to Land Registry Request Forms in OnLand
Effective October 31st, 2026, updates will be made to the following request forms in OnLand:
- Change/Correction Request
- Plan Pre-Approval Request
- Document Pre-Approval Request
- Override Request
- Data Retention Report Request
These updates will introduce additional checks for Property Identification Numbers (PINs) and Document Numbers entered in request forms to help ensure information is accurate before a request is submitted. These enhancements are intended to reduce submission errors and support more efficient processing of requests.
1.PIN Validations
The following validations will be introduced for the ‘Property Identification Number (PIN)’ field:
- For Change/Correction, Plan Pre-Approval, Document Pre-Approval and Override Request forms, OnLand will now validate that the PIN entered in this field is active and exists in the LRO selected.
- For Data Retention Report Request forms, OnLand will now validate that the PIN entered in this field exists in the LRO selected.
2. Document Number Validations
In Change/Correction Request forms and Override and Data Retention Report Request forms, OnLand will now validate data entered in the ‘Document Number’ field to ensure it consists of an active or deleted Registration Number in the LRO selected.
By introducing these validations, we aim to facilitate faster processing times for requests and reduce errors in data provided when requests are submitted, which will provide a better overall customer experience.
