Order in Council 1039/2022

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas pursuant to subsection 6 (1) of the Emergency Management and Civil Protection Act, as amended, each Minister of the Crown presiding over a Ministry of the Government of Ontario is responsible to formulate an emergency plan for the Ministry in respect of the type of emergency assigned to the Ministry by the Lieutenant Governor in Council, governing the provision of necessary services during an emergency and the procedures under and the manner in which public servants and other persons will respond to the emergency;

Therefore pursuant to subsection 6 (1) of the Emergency Management and Civil Protection Act, as amended, each Ministry listed in Column 1 of the Schedule is hereby assigned the type of emergency listed opposite to the Ministry in Column 2 of the Schedule.

And that Order in Council number O.C. 1157/2009, dated June 15, 2009, be revoked.
