Order in Council 1079/2025

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas Nicola Simone, of Toronto, has been reappointed as a member of the Board of Directors of Metrolinx and designated as Chair of the Board;

Therefore, pursuant to subsection 9(7) of the Metrolinx Act, 2006, S.O. 2006, c. 16, Nicola Simone shall be paid annual remuneration of one hundred forty-six thousand seven hundred dollars ($146,700.00) during the tenure of his appointment.

Further, Nicola Simone shall be reimbursed for reasonable expenses incurred while engaged in the business of Metrolinx in accordance with the relevant directives, guidelines and policies of the Treasury Board and Management Board of Cabinet during the tenure of his appointment.

Further, Order in Council O.C. 1019/2018 is hereby revoked.
