On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Pursuant to subsection 47(4) of the Crown Employees Collective Bargaining Act, 1993, the per diem rate of remuneration for persons appointed to the Grievance Settlement Board, on a part-time basis, in respect of a period of appointment on or after April 1, 2025, is as follows:

  1. Subject to paragraph 2, the chair of the Grievance Settlement Board shall be remunerated at the rate for a chair (professional) set out in Table 2 of Schedule 2 to Order in Council O.C. 1248/2025, as may be revised from time to time.
  2. When the chair is determining a matter, the rate of remuneration for the chair shall be a block fee of $2,400 per hearing day scheduled as mediation, mediation-arbitration, or arbitration and inclusive of preparation time, travel time, conference calls, hearing time and decision-writing.
  3. An alternate chair of the Grievance Settlement Board shall be remunerated at the rate for a chair (professional) set out in Table 2 of Schedule 2 to Order in Council O.C. 1248/2025, as may be revised from time to time.
  4. Appointees shall be reimbursed for reasonable expenses incurred in carrying out his or her duties in accordance with the relevant directives, guidelines and policies of the Treasury Board and Management Board of Cabinet.
  5. In the event of a conflict between this Order in Council and a prior Order in Council relating to remuneration in respect of the period commencing April 1, 2025, this Order in Council prevails.

Further that Order in Council O.C. 2313/2017, dated November 29, 2017, be revoked.
