Order in Council 1315/2024

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas by Order in Council numbered O.C. 1893/2023, dated December 14, 2023, Filomena McDonald was appointed as a member of the Municipality of West Grey Police Services Board for a period not to exceed three years, effective from December 14, 2023;

And whereas the Municipality of West Grey Police Services Board was continued as a police service board under the Community Safety and Policing Act, 2019 on April 1, 2024;

And whereas Filomena McDonald continued in office as a member of the Municipality of West Grey Police Service Board under section 31 of the Community Safety and Policing Act, 2019;

And whereas Filomena McDonald has, in writing, resigned her appointment, effective August 7, 2024;

Therefore, pursuant to section 27 of the Police Services Act and section 31 of the Community Safety and Policing Act, 2019, Order in Council numbered O.C. 1893/2023 dated December 14, 2023, appointing Filomena McDonald as a member of the Municipality of West Grey Police Services Board, is hereby revoked effective the date of this Order in Council.
