Order in Council 1539/2024

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas by Order in Council numbered O.C. 111/2023, dated February 2, 2023 Adrian S. Haird was appointed as a member of the Town of Gananoque Police Services Board for a period not to exceed three years, effective from February 2, 2023;

And whereas the Town of Gananoque Police Services Board was continued as the Town of Gananoque Police Service Board under the Community Safety and Policing Act, 2019 on April 1, 2024;

And whereas Adrian S. Haird continued in office as a member of the Town of Gananoque Police Service Board under section 31 of the Community Safety and Policing Act, 2019;

And whereas Adrian S. Haird has, in writing, resigned his appointment, effective October 31, 2024;

Therefore, pursuant to section 27 of the Police Services Act and section 31 of the Community Safety and Policing Act, 2019, Order in Council numbered O.C. 111/2023 dated February 2, 2023, is hereby revoked effective the date of this Order in Council.
