Order in Council 1568/2024

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

1. the portions of proposed highway in the City of St. Thomas, County of Elgin, under the jurisdiction and control of the Ministry of Transportation, being part of Lot 10, Concession 9, and shown as Parts 3, 5, 8 and 9 on a Plan of Survey deposited in the Land Registry Office for the Land Titles Division of Elgin as Plan 11R-11204 (MTO Plan P-4099-0087), be closed pursuant to subsection 29(2) of the Public Transportation and Highway Improvement Act, R.S.O. 1990, Chapter P.50, as amended; and
2. the designation as controlled-access highway by Order in Council R.O.C. 14/76, filed in the Land Registry Office for the Registry Division and the Land Titles Division of Elgin on February 27, 1976, as Number D-1121, (Registry System) and Number Misc. 2, (Land Title System) and added as Schedule 70 to Regulation 394, R.R.O. 1970, by O. Reg. 66/76, be amended so as to cease to apply to the portions of highway described above.
