On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Resource Management and Safety Act, 2025

  1. January 1, 2026 is named as the day on which the following provisions of the Resource Management and Safety Act, 2025, c. 17, being the Geologic Carbon Storage Act, 2025, come into force:  
    Schedule 2, s. 1-57, 62-66.
  2. January 1, 2026 is named as the day on which the following provision of the Resource Management and Safety Act, 2025, c. 17, which amends the Oil, Gas and Salt Resources Act, comes into force:  
    Schedule 2, s. 67.
