Order in Council 486/2026

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

1. the portions of highway, in the Town of Collingwood (Geographic Township of Nottawasaga), in the County of Simcoe, under the jurisdiction and control of the Ministry of Transportation, shown as Parts 1, 2 and 3 on Ministry of Transportation Plan 1904-0308 filed with the Record Services Unit Central Region of the Ministry of Transportation at Toronto, Ontario on November 27, 2025, described in Schedule “A” attached, be:
   1. designated as controlled-access highway pursuant to Section 36 of the Public Transportation and Highway Improvement Act, R.S.O. 1990, Chapter P. 50, as amended; and
   2. transferred to the Corporation of the Town of Collingwood, and be vested in and under the jurisdiction and control of the Corporation of the Town of Collingwood, on and after the day on which this Order is approved, pursuant to Section 29 (4) of the Public Transportation and Highway Improvement Act, R.S.O. 1990, Chapter P. 50, as amended; and
2. the portions of highway, in the Town of Wasaga Beach (Geographic Township of Nottawasaga), in the County of Simcoe, under the jurisdiction and control of the Ministry of Transportation, shown as Parts 4, 5 and 6 on Ministry of Transportation Plan 1904-0308 filed with the Record Services Unit Central Region of the Ministry of Transportation at Toronto, Ontario on November 27, 2025, described in Schedule “B” attached, be:
   1. designated as controlled-access highway pursuant to Section 36 of the Public Transportation and Highway Improvement Act, R.S.O. 1990, Chapter P. 50, as amended; and
   2. transferred to the Corporation of the Town of Wasaga Beach, and be vested in and under the jurisdiction and control of the Corporation of the Town of Wasaga Beach, on and after the day on which this order is approved, pursuant to Section 29 (4) of the Public Transportation and Highway Improvement Act, R.S.O. 1990, Chapter P. 50, as amended; and
3. the portions of highway, in the Township of Clearview (Geographic Township of Nottawasaga), in the County of Simcoe, under the jurisdiction and control of the Ministry of Transportation, shown as Parts 7 and 8 on Ministry of Transportation Plan 1904-0308 filed with the Record Services Unit Central Region of the Ministry of Transportation at Toronto, Ontario on November 27, 2025, described in Schedule “C” attached, be:
   1. designated as controlled-access highway pursuant to Section 36 of the Public Transportation and Highway Improvement Act, R.S.O. 1990, Chapter P. 50, as amended; and
   2. transferred to the Corporation of the Township of Clearview, and be vested in and under the jurisdiction and control of the Corporation of the Township of Clearview, on and after the day on which this order is approved, pursuant to Section 29 (4) of the Public Transportation and Highway Improvement Act, R.S.O. 1990, Chapter P. 50, as amended.
