Order in Council 690/2021

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas pursuant to subsection 62(1) of the Building Transit Faster Act, 2020, land may be designated as transit corridor land if the Lieutenant Governor in Council is of the opinion that the designation is or may be required for a priority transit project, as defined in section 2 of the Act;

And whereas all or part of the properties listed in the document titled “OL Designation Plan TCL PIN Table” attached hereto are or may be required as transit corridor land for the Ontario Line, which is a priority transit project;

Therefore, pursuant to subsection 62(1) of the Building Transit Faster Act, 2020, all or part of the properties listed in the above-mentioned document, as further described in the attached designation plans numbered 17-W0016-155-OL-SH-1 to 17-W0016-155-OL-SH-5 prepared by GeoVera (ON) Ltd. and dated April 26, 2021, are designated as transit corridor land for all purposes in respect of the Ontario Line, effective the date of this Order.
