Order in Council 780/2025

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

1. the portion of proposed King’s Highway in the City of Kawartha Lakes, Geographic Township of Emily, under the jurisdiction and control of the Ministry of Transportation being, part of Lots 13 and 16, Registrar’s Complied Plan 556, and shown as Part 3 on Ministry of Transportation Plan P-3371-8, save and except Parts 1 & 2 on a plan of survey deposited in the Land Registry Office for the Land Titles Division of Victoria as Plan 57R-11188 (Ministry of Transportation Plan P-3371-30) be closed pursuant to subsection 29(2) of the Public Transportation and Highway Improvement Act, R.S.O. 1990, Chapter P.50, as amended; and
2. Order in Council OC-174/2012 dated February 14, 2012, designating the above-mentioned highway as King’s Highway, registered in the Land Registry Office for the Land Titles Division of Peterborough on July 12, 2012, as PE 171545, and the Land Titles Division Victoria on July 16, 2012, as KL64876, be amended so as to cease to apply to the portion of highway as described above.
