Order in Council 781/2025

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

1. the portions of highway in the Geographic Township of Ops, City of Kawartha Lakes, under the jurisdiction and control of the Ministry of Transportation, being part of Doubletree Road and Part of Block 10 as shown on a Plan of Subdivision registered in the Land Registry Office for the Land Titles Division of Victoria as 57M-758 (Ministry of Transportation Plan P-1946-77), described as Part 13 and Parts 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12 respectfully on a Reference Plan deposited in the aforementioned Land Title Division as 57R-10215 (Ministry of Transportation Plan P-2031-68), be closed pursuant to subsection 29(2) of the Public Transportation and Highway Improvement Act, R.S.O., 1990, Chapter P.50, as amended; and
2. Order in Council OC-662/2004 dated March 31, 2004, designating the above-mentioned highway as King’s Highway, registered in the Land Registry Office for the Land Titles Division of Victoria as LT17181, be amended so as to cease to apply to part of Block 10 on Plan of Subdivision 57M-758 being Parts 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12 on Plan 57R-10215 (Ministry of Transportation Plan P-2031-68).
