Order in Council 783/2025

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

1. the portions of highway in the City of Oshawa, Geographic Township of East Whitby, Regional Municipality of Durham, under the jurisdiction and control of the Ministry of Transportation, being Part of Lot 13, Concession 1, and shown as Parts 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 on Reference Plan 40R-32817 (Ministry of Transportation Plan P-2551-0317) deposited in the Land Registry Office for the Land Titles Division of Durham, be closed pursuant to subsection 29(2) of the Public Transportation and Highway Improvement Act, R.S.O. 1990, Chapter P.50, as amended; and
2. the designation as a controlled-access highway described in Schedule 27 to Regulation 399, R.R.O. 1970, be amended so as to cease to apply to the portion of highway described above.
