What to expect in this role

As a court and client representative you may perform a wide range of duties including:

  • working with and supporting judges, lawyers, and other court users
  • managing court records, receiving and filing court documents, drafting court documents, and reviewing legal materials
  • managing virtual and hybrid hearings and operating court recording technologies
  • facilitating the jury selection process and managing court exhibits

Skills needed

If you have the following skills, you could be a good candidate for the job:

  • strong customer service skills
  • can pay close attention to detail
  • able to work well under pressure and perform work in a fast-paced environment
  • can adapt and learn new skills and digital processes
  • able to understand complex information and explain it clearly to the public
  • have excellent oral communication and writing skills
  • can type at least 30 words per minute — a mandatory requirement for this position
