You can send a personal message to the Premier of Ontario. This can include:

  • a question
  • an issue
  • a comment

All messages are reviewed carefully. Your message may be shared with a cabinet minister or appropriate government official to help provide a response.

Request a special greeting

Special greetings from the Premier of Ontario celebrate important events and celebrations. Special greetings are free of charge, as always.

Eligible greetings

Special greetings are only available for:

  • significant anniversaries celebrated by communities, groups or organizations
  • provincial, national and international conferences
  • cultural or sporting events

When to request

Submit your request no more than 6 months before or after the event date.

Processing time

Greetings will be processed and sent to you within at least 3 weeks of your request.

Other greetings

You can also request a greeting from His Majesty the King and the Governor General, the Prime Minister or the Lieutenant Governor.

Request a congratulatory certificate

Congratulatory certificates are official documents from the Premier of Ontario recognizing important milestones. Congratulatory certificates are free of charge, as always.

Eligible milestones

Congratulatory certificates are only available for specific milestones, including a:

  • birthday (80 years or more)
  • marriage anniversary (40 years or more)
  • anniversary of private company (50 years or more)
  • anniversary of non-profit organization, social club or religious group (25 years or more)
  • retirement (25 years or more)
  • military retirement (15 years or more)

If your request does not fit into these categories, submit a special greeting request instead.

Request a congratulatory certificate

When to request

Submit your request no more than 6 months before or after the milestone date.

Processing time

Certificates will be processed and mailed to you within at least 3 weeks of your request.

Update a request

If you need to update your certificate request, you can change it online. You will need your email and order confirmation number.

Once it is updated, you will receive a new order confirmation number. Please reference the new confirmation number with any future communication with us.

Your personal information is being collected in order to respond to your inquiry. Your inquiry/personal information will be forwarded to the appropriate ministry(ies) for response and will be used to respond to your inquiry. Some of the non-identifying information shared will be used by Cabinet Office and/or ServiceOntario to measure performance and improve our services. Your information will not be placed on mailing lists or released to any third party, except as may be authorized by law.
