Particulars of a Restraining Order

s. 49 (2) Ontario Career Colleges Act, 2005 (“Act”)

These particulars are posted following the issuance of a Restraining Order against two persons by the Superintendent of Career Colleges pursuant to s. 49 (2) of the Act.

Mohammad Sohail Qazi and Zainab Fareeha Syeda

Contraventions

The Superintendent has ordered Mohammad Sohail Qazi and Zainab Fareeha Syeda of Stoney Creek, Ontario, to stop:

  1. Holding themselves out as the operators of a registered career college while not so registered contrary to subsection 7 (2) of the Act.
    1. The Superintendent believes that Mohammad Sohail Qazi and Zainab Fareeha Syeda have held themselves out as the operators of a registered career college, Northview College of Technology Business and Health Services Inc. (the “College”), while not the directors, shareholders, agents, or operators of the College. Mohammad Sohail Qazi and Zainab Fareeha Syeda held themselves out as the operators of the College through a Facebook account (https://www.facebook.com/NorthViewCollege/) and an Instagram account (https://www.instagram.com/north.view.college/).
  2. Advertising a registered career college while not the directors, shareholders, agents, or operators of the career college contrary to subsection 11 (1) of the Act.
    1. The Superintendent believes that Mohammad Sohail Qazi and Zainab Fareeha Syeda have advertised the College while not the directors, shareholders, agents, or operators of the College. Mohammad Sohail Qazi and Zainab Fareeha Syeda advertised the college through a Facebook account (https://www.facebook.com/NorthViewCollege/) and an Instagram account (https://www.instagram.com/north.view.college/).

Required Actions

Mohammad Sohail Qazi and Zainab Fareeha Syeda were required by June 30, 2026, to provide written confirmation, together with all available supporting evidence, confirming that they:

  1. Took all steps necessary to come into compliance with the Act and its regulations including the following:
    1. Stopped holding themselves out as the operators of the College, while not the directors, shareholders, agents, or operators of the College, through the Facebook and Instagram accounts; and,
    2. Stopped advertising the College, while not the directors, shareholders, agents, or operators of the College, through the Facebook and Instagram accounts.
  2. Provided to the Superintendent of Career Colleges a written report of compliance, including a description of steps taken by Mohammad Sohail Qazi and Zainab Fareeha Syeda, and all documentation necessary to demonstrate that Mohammad Sohail Qazi and Zainab Fareeha Syeda came into compliance with the Act and its regulations.

Mohammad Sohail Qazi and Zainab Fareeha Syeda provided the written confirmation of compliance and the actions taken on June 20, 2026.
