These particulars are posted following the issuance of an administrative penalty by the Superintendent of Career Colleges pursuant to s. 39 (1) of the Act for which a review was not requested.

Contravention

Ontario Career Colleges Act, 2005, s.7 (2) Holding oneself out:

The Superintendent believes that Mr. Mosher as director of the Business, has concurred in the Business holding itself out as registered under the Ontario Career Colleges Act, 2005, formerly the Private Career Colleges Act, 2005.

A trailer registered to and listed as owned by the Business includes signage along the long sides that reads “Registered as a Private Career College under the Private Career Colleges Act, 2005”. Peter Mosher is the sole director of the Business. Neither Mr. Mosher nor the Business are registered as career colleges under the Act.

Ontario Career Colleges Act, 2005, s.11 (2) Restrictions on advertising and soliciting:

The Superintendent believes that Mr. Mosher as director of the Business, has concurred in the Business advertising the provision of an unapproved vocational program.

A trailer registered and listed as owned by the Business advertises the provision of “AZ Manual” training. Neither the Business nor Mr. Mosher are approved to provide any vocational training.
