Particulars of a Restraining Order
s. 49 (1) Ontario Career Colleges Act, 2005 (“Act”)

These particulars are posted following the issuance of a Restraining Order against a registered career college by the Superintendent of Career Colleges pursuant to s. 49 (1) of the Act.

Contraventions
The Superintendent has ordered Revolution Truck Training Academy Ltd. (“Revolution”) to:
- Stop advertising the provision of vocational programs while subject to an immediate suspension of registration under subsection 20 (1) of the Act, contrary to subsection 11 (2) of the Act
- On September 26, 2024, the Superintendent issued and served a Notice of Immediate Suspension to Revolution, immediately suspending Revolution’s registration; and,
- Despite the suspension of Revolution’s registration, Revolution continued to advertise on its website the provision of a vocational program that requires the approval of the Superintendent, contrary to subsection 11 (2) of the Act.
Required Actions
By January 28, 2025, Revolution is required by the Superintendent to provide written confirmation signed by a person with authority to bind the corporation, together with all available supporting evidence, confirming that they:
- Took all steps necessary to come into compliance with the Act and its regulations including the following:
- Stop advertising the provision of programs while subject to an immediate suspension.
- Provided to the Superintendent of Career Colleges a written report of compliance, including a description of steps taken by Revolution and all documentation necessary to demonstrate that Revolution came into compliance with the Act and its regulations.
