Search for a private career college in Ontario
If you are planning on going to a private career college, it’s a good idea to find out if they are registered with and have had programs approved by the Superintendent of private career colleges.
Search a registry of Ontario private career colleges to find out:
- if they are registered
- where they are located
- what fees they charge for their programs
- the delivery formats offered (in-person, online or hybrid in-person/online)
- if the private career college was issued a notice for contravening the Private Career Colleges Act, 2005
- if the private career college is currently subject to a restraining order or a compliance order under the Private Career Colleges Act, 2005
What you need to know
Private career colleges also provide information on graduation, employment, and student loan default rates for students in their vocational programs. This can help future students plan their postsecondary education.
