Order in Council 1295/2025

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas the St. Lawrence Parks Commission (the “Commission”) or a legal predecessor thereof is the registered owner of certain parcels of lands in the Township of South Stormont, United Counties of Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry;

Whereas the Commission wishes to sell portions of such parcels to the Township of South Stormont, such portions described in Schedule “A” attached hereto (the “Lands”);

Whereas pursuant to subsection 6(1)(a) of the St. Lawrence Parks Commission Act, the Commission requires the approval of the Lieutenant Governor in Council to dispose of land;

Now therefore pursuant to subsection 6(1)(a) of the St. Lawrence Parks Commission Act, approval is hereby given to the Commission to:

1. sell the Lands to the Township of South Stormont; and
2. execute such documents as may be necessary for that purpose.
