OINP Express Entry Notifications of Interest
Get information about Notifications of Interest sent by OINP to candidates with a profile in the Government of Canada’s Express Entry system
Overview
The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) regularly searches Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada’s (IRCC) Express Entry pool to find candidates who may meet the criteria of one of Ontario’s Express Entry immigration streams.
If we identify you in the pool, you will receive a notification of interest in your Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada online account.
After you receive a notification of interest, you may submit an online application to the OINP if you qualify under the Ontario Express Entry stream for which your notification of interest was issued. You must submit your application within 45 calendar days of receiving the notification of interest.
Not all applicants who meet Ontario’s stream criteria will receive a notification of interest.

Receiving a notification of interest does not mean that you qualify for one of our streams.
If you’ve received a notification of interest, follow the instructions for applying to the OINP through the Express Entry system and ensure you meet the requirements for both the stream and the draw you were invited under. Use the date of your notification of interest to locate the details of the draw on the OINP Program Updates page.
