About the consultation

We are committed to developing more robust animal protection legislation that provides greater transparency and accountability, while strengthening and improving animal welfare across Ontario. Your input will help inform our work to ensure appropriate and effective measures are in place to provide animals with the protections they deserve and the people of Ontario expect.

This feedback will directly inform Ontario’s new model for animal welfare.

We will report back on the results of this consultation in Fall 2019.
