    2. Adults and Masters are divided into the following belt level experience groups for the weight categories:
      1. White belt
      2. Blue belt
      3. Purple belt
      4. Brown belt
      5. Black belt

4. Matching Guidelines

  1. Matching guidelines (exceptions outside of the tournament rules)
    1. Sanctioned events are pre-registration only, so that bracketing is done the week of the tournament — most issues get resolved in advance.
    2. In the event of no matches in division/weight category, competitors can move up one weight category or are offered a refund.
    3. For children’s divisions, officials will final arrangement of divisions on the morning of the tournament to avoid significant size discrepancies and form safe divisions for all competitors.
