  1. Weigh-ins
    1. All qualified athletes must present their identification or passport to weigh in.
    2. The weigh-in shall be conducted by the chief registrar in collaboration with the scheduler — recorders under the supervision of the chief official.
    3. All athletes must arrive at the designated time and place as set out by the organizing committee to weigh in. Athletes may weigh-in in the nude or with shorts on, (female competitors may wear fitting undergarments and will be provided privacy screening).
    4. Each category should conclude its weigh-in within a period of one hour.
    5. Any competitor who fails to weigh-in correctly within his or her registered division within the allocated time will, depending on the type and nature of the event:
    6. Should a competitor’s weigh-in result be below the minimum weight, or higher than the maximum weight required for that category, the player will:
      1. be required to move up or down a weight class, at the discretion of the organizer and Chief Referee, providing that there is an appropriate category available; or
      2. be given up to one hour to meet the requirements for that division; or
      3. forfeit participation in any of the subsequent contests in that event.
    7. Competitors that are competing on a specific day of competition may be required to weigh-in at a specific time and place prior to the start of the day’s events (if applicable). Each event will have slightly different procedures depending on the venue and class of bouts arranged.
    8. In general, weigh-in will occur prior to the event date with additional weigh-in on the day of event for select high performance events. Those who do not make weight as required by the event will forfeit their results.
    9. Contestants will be weighed wearing their competition attire or mandatory article of clothing covering male/female genitalia.
    10. Contestants will not be allowed to change out of their weigh-in attire into their normal attire in the weigh-in area. Contestants should be directed to a private area away from the weigh-in area.
