Notice of Amendments to the Distribution System Code

Amendments made on December 18, 2025 and come into effect on May 1, 2026:

1. Section 1.2 is amended by deleting the definition of “load displacement”.
2. The definition of “micro-embedded generation facility” in section 1.2 is amended by replacing the words “10 kW” with the words “12 kW”.

3. Section 1.7 is amended by adding the following sentences at the end of the section:

   The amendments to sections 1.2, 6.2.4.2, 6.2.12, 6.2.25, and Appendix E made by the Board on December 18, 2025 come into force on May 1, 2026.

4. Section 6.2.4.2 is amended by deleting the words “or an embedded generation facility that is not an embedded retail generation facility”.
5. Section 6.2.12 is amended as following:
   1. by deleting the word “and” at the end of paragraph (a);

   2. by adding the following new paragraph (b) immediately after paragraph (a):

      (b) 75 days of the receipt of the application where no distribution system reinforcement or expansion is required, and where a host distributor connection impact assessment is needed; and

   3. by renumbering paragraph (b) to become paragraph (c) and by adding the words “, regardless of the need for a host distributor connection impact assessment” at the end of that paragraph.
6. Section 6.2.25 is amended by replacing the words “CSA C22.3 No. 9” with the words “applicable industry standards”.
7. The first paragraph of the “Micro-Embedded Generation Facility Connection Agreement” in Appendix E is amended by replacing the words “10 kW” with the words “12 kW”.
8. The “Form of Connection Agreement for a Small Embedded Generation Facility or a Mid-Sized Embedded Generation Facility” in Appendix E is amended as follows:
   1. by replacing the words “10kW” with the words “12 kW” in section 2.1;
   2. by adding the words “, either under the Customer’s name or the name of a third party that has a generation agreement with the Customer” at the end of the first sentence of the last paragraph of section 9.1;
   3. by adding the words “or any change that causes the insurance policy to no longer meet the requirements of section 9.1” at the end of the second sentence of the last paragraph of section 9.1; and

   4. by adding a new section 9.2 immediately after section 9.1 that reads as follows:

      9.2 Section 9.1 shall not apply to residential customers.
