Ontario Community Infrastructure Fund
The Ontario Community Infrastructure Fund (OCIF) provides funding to help small, rural and northern communities renew and rehabilitate critical infrastructure.
In 2022, the government invested an additional $1 billion for OCIF over five years, for a total investment of nearly $2 billion, to support more local infrastructure projects in small, rural and northern communities.
Formula-based funding
