Building Ontario Together
Learn about our plan to put everyday workers and families first and build Ontario’s future together.
Make life more affordable
We’re making life more affordable for families and individuals across the province.
Our plan will provide tax relief for low-income workers, support families with child care expenses through a new tax credit and increased funding for autism programs, tackle the rising costs of housing and energy, reduce the cost of postsecondary tuition and lower the cost of living in the North.

Prepare people for jobs
We are investing in education and skills training programs to make sure today’s students, and tomorrow’s entrepreneurs, innovators and workers, have the skills they need to succeed in a highly competitive global economy.
Our plan will renew our focus on science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) fields, transform skilled trades and employment programs, attract skilled workers to Ontario and support the Francophone community.
Improve transit and infrastructure
We’re making historic investments in infrastructure — including Ontario’s roads, bridges, transit and rural broadband network — to connect people to places, meet the needs of a growing population and strengthen our economy.
Our plan will build highways, subways and rapid transit systems to get people and goods where they need to be, improve high-speed internet and cellphone services across rural and remote communities and make long-term infrastructure investments in broadband services.

Build the health care system of the future
We’re building a modern, connected and sustainable patient-centred health care system — investing now to end hallway healthcare, focus on mental health and make sure the very best services are in place for future generations.
Our plan will build more capacity in the health care system and expand hospital infrastructure, improve access and create more service options for patients, create a connected system of mental health, addictions services and housing supports and address the increasingly complex needs of long-term care residents.
Build safer communities
We’re making sure Ontario’s families and neighbourhoods are safe from violence and criminal activity related to drugs, guns, gang activity and human trafficking.
Our plan will create supportive environments tailored to the individual needs of communities, provide the funding and tools that police need to fight gun and gang violence and protect the most vulnerable Ontarians, including seniors, children and women.
Make Ontario more competitive
We will continue to find efficiencies, streamline services and build a better, smarter, more accountable government to help achieve fiscal balance and restore public confidence in Ontario’s finances.
Our plan will create a competitive business environment by reducing small business taxes and eliminating outdated and duplicative regulations, while making sure important health, safety and environmental protections are maintained or enhanced. It will also make government spending smarter and deliver simpler, faster and better government services.
