Northern Physician Retention Initiative (NPRI)
The 2021–22 application form for the Northern Physician Retention Initiative is currently available on the ministry webpage.
Again this year, payments will be processed through the OHIP claims payment system and deposited in the bank account associated with your OHIP solo billing number and will appear in the “Accounting Adjustments” section of your OHIP Remittance Advice. Deadline for submitting your application
The deadline for submitting your application for the Northern Physician Retention Initiative is March 31, 2022. Applications received or postdated after March 31, 2022 will not be processed.
Temporary suspension of mailed and couriered applications
In March 2020, the ministry released the following INFOBulletin 11233 advising you
