Overview

The Ontario Immigration Nominee Program (OINP) uses an expression of interest system to select individuals who may meet the criteria for one of the immigration streams identified below.

If we identify you from the candidate pool, you will receive an invitation to apply in your OINP e‑Filing Portal account.

Receiving an invitation to apply does not mean that you qualify for one of our streams.

After you receive an invitation to apply, you may apply online if you qualify under the stream identified in your invitation to apply. You must submit your application within 14 calendar days of receiving the invitation to apply.

Not all applicants who meet Ontario’s stream criteria will receive an invitation to apply.

We do not provide advance notice before we issue invitations to apply. Watch this page for details on invitations to apply issued to candidates.
