Overview and procedures

During the uncoupling and coupling portion of the test, you must demonstrate you can safely uncouple and couple a truck/tractor and trailer.

After the daily inspection test, you will exit the vehicle and begin the uncoupling and coupling portion of the test.

The vehicle will be in a pre-determined location that is suitable and safe for uncoupling and coupling the vehicle. You will be asked to perform uncoupling first, followed by coupling.
