Find tables containing projected board-by-board allocations of core education funding for the 2025–2026 school year. We prepared these projections, which are based on enrolment and other information provided by school boards.
The tables also contain board-by-board allocations from the prior year.
Technical guide for school boards, 2025-2026
The technical guide contains:
- the details of the different funds and their purpose
- the details of the funding formulas
- other criteria for funding to school boards
We use the funding formulas and criteria to calculate school boards’ 2025–2026 allocations for budgeting and financial reporting purposes.
Technical guide for isolate board school authorities, 2025–2026
There are 4 isolate board school authorities, which need modified funding formulas due to each isolate board operating only 1 school and their unique circumstances, including the remoteness of their locations.
These isolate boards are:
- James Bay Lowlands Secondary School Board (SSB)
- Moose Factory Island District School Area Board (DSAB)
- Moosonee District School Area Board (DSAB)
- Penetanguishene Protestant Separate School Board (PSSB)
Funding for these isolate boards follows the same methodology as outlined in the Technical Guide for School Boards with the specific modifications that are outlined in the Technical Guide for Isolate Board School Authorities.
