Overview

The Ministry of Health and the Ontario Medical Association have been working together to implement the 2024 Physician Services Agreement (PSA). The PSA provides for investments in Emergency Medicine, including a 4.33% increase for eligible H-codes for fee-for-service Emergency Department (ED) physicians. See INFOBulletin 260102 for more details, including the list of eligible codes.

Medical Claims Adjustment (MADJ)

A MADJ has been performed to reprocess all eligible H-codes with a service date and assessment date between April 1, 2025 and January 5, 2026 to pay the increased amount. Physicians can expect to see adjustments starting on the October 2026 Remittance Advice (RA).

No action is required by physicians.
