Overview

Public consultations can happen on ontario.ca, in person through town halls, expert advisory groups, limited stakeholder engagements, or through the Regulatory Registry, Long-term Care Licensing Registry or Environmental Registry.

How to get involved

A public consultation is an opportunity for you to weigh in on decisions by government. They can happen at any phase of the decision making process. You may be asked to:

  • help identify priorities and issues
  • give feedback on draft policies and plans
  • help develop a solution to a problem

Inviting your input is part of Ontario’s overall approach to public engagement.
